Put a little Funny in your workout Part 2

I like to put funny into everything that I do actually. I'm going to be the inventor of the laugh crunches.. I'll work on that. At the end, I also included my chili recipe and my meat loaf recipe because I do, in fact, take requests....

Really... My "running" is hysterical. I'm convinced that the old couple down the street having their morning coffee on the porch every morning just to have a good laugh when I "run" by in the morning.

Wait... I'm NOT Hillary Swank in million dollar baby?! PSHhh. I think the Shark I kickboxed would beg to differ...

When you peel back all those layers donkey, you get Shrek with an even bigger attitude problem...

Grace is 20lbs at least and Cassie is about 10lbs I'd say... I think we are going to try this tomorrow... Here kitty, kitty, kitty....

Someday I'll get to the point where I will still be 4 miles from home while out for a run but my mission has always been to get back home because that's where the food is...

Ohhhmmmm......  I need a dog I can go walking with and do Yoga with...

This is eerily accurate actually....

Chili
Ingredients:
1 can stewed tomatoes
1 little can of tomato paste
1 Jar of tomato sauce
1/4 cup diced Green Pepper
1/4 cup diced Onion
1/4 cup diced Carrots
1/4 cup diced Broccoli
1/4 cup diced Celery
1/2 lb Ground Turkey
1/8 cup Chili Powder (more or less to taste)
3 tbs Garlic Powder
1/2 cup beans
Salt & Pepper (to taste)

Instructions:
1. Brown the ground turkey
2. While your turkey is browning add all other ingredients to a crock pot and mix
3. Add turkey to crock pot and mix with other ingredients
4. Cook on low for at least 5 hours

Tips:
  • Use whatever veggies you have around. If you dice it up, it will cook down and just become part of the sauce. This is a great recipe for getting veggies in you that you don't usually eat because you don't taste them, you just get the nutrition factor.
  • Add as much Chili powder as you like. I don't really measure how much I use I just kind of guess as to how much I think seems about right...

Mini Meatloafs
 Ingredients:
1/2lb ground turkey
3 tbs Worcestershire Sauce
1 packet of brown gravy mix
1/4 cup of diced green peppers and onions
1tbs garlic powder
4 tsp ketchup
1/4 cup bread crumbs

Instructions:
1. Mix all ingredients except for ketchup in a bowl
2. Divide the mixture into a muffin tin filling each to the top of each cup (makes 4 mini loafs)
3. Top each mini loaf with a tsp of ketchup
4. Bake at 365degrees for 35 minutes.

Feeling like I won't ever use ground beef again. Ground Turkey is where it's at.
